The founder of Chi-Yi Textile Co., Ltd., Mr. Lin Weifu, was born about fifty years ago in a central village engaged in agricultur . Since childhood, he has been doing various odd jobs.

For this reason, he worked at the textile during daytime and studied at school at night. He got through these work-study days even having sleepless nights of hard work and finally finished the high school study.
The initiative enables Lin Weifu to be appreciated by the mill owners. He was promoted to the foreman, team leader from a bottom worker of handling fabric and laid a solid foundation for textile. He also saved some money by living frugally during these days to prepare for future entrepreneurship. Later, he returned home with the mood of reverting to his origin and finally started his own textile business.
